Belvoir Hunt

edit

"A fox hunt based at Belvoir, Leicestershire." Name of a specific event where the meaning is easily derived from the sum of its parts. I think there's a suggestion that it's rhyming slang for 'cunt' too. Anyone know about that? In any event, I'm nominating this definition, not a definition we don't have. FWIW I see no bgc/ggc results for "a!her!er belvoir hunt".—msh210 (talk) 15:29, 22 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
If it was rhyming slang, it would be more likely to just be "her belvoir" (rhyming slang almost always deletes the actual rhyming part - it wouldn't be much use otherwise); and the similar berk (from Berkley hunt) is only used as an insult - you'd never actually say "her berk". That said, the only evidence I could find for use as slang were a couple of not-very-reliable web forums claiming beaver comes from Belvoir hunt.
