scope of "CG" in japanese

1. as a drawing:
   1. one drawing (hence CG集)
   2. excluding comics
   3. ?not a cool word anymore since 2010
      1. people wouldn't point to modern pixiv rankings and call those works "CG" or put links to their "CG" on their website
      2. ?still in use with visual novels? not a visual novel person
   4. ?very doujin-y (or is that just because i'm Extremely Online)
2. as a video:
   1. ? (don't really care)
