Talk:Happy Christmas

In English, the usual phrase is "Merry Christmas." Should this be moved? Ortonmc 17:54, 8 Apr 2004 (UTC)

It can be "Happy Christmas" as well, unless that's just in Britain?? --Rob 18:00, 8 Apr 2004 (UTC)

From looking at the Merry Christmas page, this page shouldn't be necessary since they have the same meaning. It should redirect --Rob 18:14, 8 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Looking around the web, it appears that "Happy Christmas" is used in the Commonwealth--although "Merry Christmas" is, too. The meanings are identical, of course. Ortonmc 21:44, 8 Apr 2004 (UTC)
In Australia the set phrase is definitely "Merry Christmas" though you sometimes hear "Happy Christmas" it never sounds like a set phrase. — Hippietrail 21:50, 8 Apr 2004 (UTC)
