I am a Jason. I realised a number of years ago that my name could also have links to the Gregorian/Western/Christian calendar. Can anyone confirm if this might be the case? J July A August S September O October N November

I find it more than a coincidence that the letters are in sequence with the first letters of the 7th, 8th, 9, 10th and 11th months since so many other names are also linked to our calendar.

Is it just a coincidence or is there more to it?

Definitely a coincidence, since the Jason of Greek myth was mentioned, historically, long before the months of "July" and "August" received their current names (from the Roman emperors Julius Caesar and Caesar Augustus). —Ruakh_TALK 00:15, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
