Talk:VE Day

  1. This should be a Proper noun phrase, not a Noun phrase.
  2. This needs to be changed back to VE Day not VE day. It's Christmas Day, Mother's Day, New Year's Day. The D is part of the proper noun title for holidays.

  1. It is definitely a capital D. I went several pages into a Google search and only saw one small d.

I tend to agree, but the print dictionary I checked gives "VE day". I suggest we have the capitalised "D" version as the main one and the lower-case one as the redirect — Paul G 09:54, 17 May 2005 (UTC)Reply
Return to "VE Day" page.
