Air conditioners ---> "airs" edit

"Air" as short for air conditioner is currently listed as uncountable, but I've certainly heard it as a count noun. "Did you know the airs are on?" and so on. Soap (talk) 03:39, 27 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Since it's been a year and no one commented I've gone ahead and added the plural use. Let me know if anyone's bothered. Soap (talk) 00:20, 1 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Why are the translations for this lemma in a subpage? edit

I propose we move them to the entry and delete the subpage.--So9q (talk) 09:33, 31 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Backinstadiums: Did you not check the entry? We have noun #12: "A television or radio signal". So you can be on the air or off the air; there is also dead air. Equinox 16:45, 23 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Equinox: We have on air, off-air, but not on/off the air. --Backinstadiums (talk) 16:50, 23 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
If only we had a way for users to create new entries. Equinox 21:47, 23 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Equinox: Its own entry or rather redirect? --Backinstadiums (talk) 09:14, 24 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Return to "air" page.
