Volume 1 of Rječnik hrvatskoga ili srpskoga jezika, printed in Zagreb in 1884. lists amidža (under amiǵa, as is the usual notation practised by JAZU), and says that no other dictionary up to the time of publishing defines the term. It does not list term amidižinica, which is probably a regionalism. --Ivan Štambuk 11:17, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
