I think translating "attingere" as "pump" is wrong: this verb does not involve the use of a pump or of similar devices, but simply means drawing water from a source (e.g. a well), usually by means of a container such a bucket; see e.g. https://www.treccani.it/vocabolario/attingere/ or https://www.wordreference.com/iten/attingere. --DostoHouskij (talk) 14:15, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
