Badly is sometimes used after feel in its copulative sense where one might expect an adjective edit

it's the adjective badly the one that is used (see usage https://www.wordreference.com/definition/bad) --Backinstadiums (talk) 13:31, 14 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

more/most badly edit

According to Collins English Usage,

Badly has another different meaning. If you need or want something badly, you need or want it very much:
I am badly in need of advice; I want this job so badly; We badly need the money.
For this meaning, don't use the comparative and superlative forms ‘worse’ and ‘worst’. Instead you use the forms more/most badly.

Worst is a casualism when used as an equivalent of most, as in what they need worst is food. --Backinstadiums (talk) 17:41, 24 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
