@Jberkel: The stress is correct (I've verified with the Zingarelli and D-O). The only reason the Treccani puts the stress on the "e" is because it splits the term into two separate words. And, yes, the word is invariable. Imetsia (talk) 17:16, 12 November 2021 (UTC)
