  • While I can find no online media to attest this words existence I assure you that some things do exist outside the internet. It appears to follow the caluses "Conveying meaning," "Spanning at least a year," "Idiomaticity" and others. This request was spawned as a result of hearing the same word used in multiple geographical regions and having the same meaning throughout. Thank you for your reasoning.Devanl 17:14, 1 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Definition needs rewording: seems encyclopedic (especially its second sentence) and is hard to understand (links and {{gloss}} might help). Also, definition says it's a method — but it has a plural. While that's possible, it seems unlikely.—msh210 (talk) 19:48, 10 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Failure to be verified means that insufficient eligible citations of this usage have been found, and the entry therefore does not meet Wiktionary inclusion criteria at the present time. We have archived here the disputed information, the verification discussion, and any documentation gathered so far, pending further evidence.
Do not re-add this information to the article without also submitting proof that it meets Wiktionary's criteria for inclusion.

RFV-second noun sense of “strong marijuana; dab pen cartridges”, which originally had a bit of an amphiboly which was overcome due to marijuana not coming in cartridges. Both citations seem to be using it as a verb. —Desaccointier 14:08, 19 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

The citations were for a different sense; the IP presumably inserted this sense before them by mistake. I doubt this is attestable—I did a thorough search for citations of the word boof in September and added several senses but didn't find this one. —Granger (talk · contribs) 14:19, 19 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
