Hi bygone. Adjective is fine, but defn. also says it's a noun, while bygones says noun -- plural only. Which is correct? -- ALGRIF talk 18:02, 15 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Don't all rush to answer. It can wait until bygones are bygones, and Brexit is Brexit, 2020 is 2020. Time without end. Amen.
The singular is attestable but uncommon. See Citations:bygone. DCDuring (talk) 02:13, 30 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
My thanks, as ever, go to the redoubtable DCD. ALGRIF talk 19:47, 6 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
