Continuous is not interchangeable with continual in the sense of spatial relationship: a continuous series of passages.

Usage note: "Continual" for something undesirable which happens or exist without stopping edit
If you are describing something undesirable which continues to happen or exist without stopping, use continual rather than continuous.Life for her was a continual struggle because she was in continual pain. --Backinstadiums (talk) 10:23, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
