cunus edit

There are plenty of misspellings of things and enough of them added together make for a variant, but the closest I can get to cunus showing up in actual use is a single variant MS of Catullus. Is this just from that online dictionary etym fancifully connecting coney (rabbit) > cunnus (*) by means of a made-up spelling? or are there some actual texts that employ it? There is this, which uses it as another name for 'cave' or 'passage', but apparently is the only text to do so. LlywelynII (talk) 20:41, 7 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
One use is sufficient to make a variant, but if you think it rare enough, I will respect your decision not to list it. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 01:16, 8 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

There should be an obvious link with the other Latin word, Cuneiform which means 'wedge shaped' or groove.203.214.22.116 04:57, 19 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
