I'm not sure the citations (at dead tree) support the "pejorative" tag. --Connel MacKenzie 05:48, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- The citations under the noun section all seem to be non-complimentary. Part of it has to do with the name itself (versus print/paper edition/version). Adding 1 more here.--Halliburton Shill 06:35, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- Nothing pejorative about it at all. The term itself does not imply that an online edition exists; older publications exist only in dead-tree editions. I also note that both quotations show the term as hyphenated, and that seems more correct. Eclecticology (talk) 02:05, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
