Vulgar Latin?
editIs this really from 'Vulgar Latin'? Not Classical Latin or New Latin? 96.57.6.131 01:39, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
- It doesn't appear at all in the English or French dictionaries of Latin or in A Glossary of Later Latin to 600 A.D.. Disciplinaris does, but it apparently meant "scientific" in use by Boethius. DCDuring (talk) 14:21, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
- To my surprise, I contributed the etymology. I apparently copied from the 1911 edition of the Century Dictionary. But they say Medieval, not Vulgar Latin. I have made that change. DCDuring (talk) 14:27, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for researching this. 96.57.6.131 01:01, 18 March 2022 (UTC)
