Origins edit
This phrase was coined by Mr Colm Larkin B.A. (Mod) of Dublin University, Trinity College, Ireland, in his publication 'My Cousin and I' (1982) ISBN: 0307126889
- The above comment from 2004 is in error; the term dates to the early 19th century according to Lexico. --Geographyinitiative (talk) 15:46, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
double first cousin and double cousin edit
My instinct is that although it's clearly theoretically possible to have a double second cousin or a double fifth cousin twice removed or whatever, the vast majority of references to double cousin will be synonyms with double first cousin. --Geographyinitiative (talk) 22:05, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
