Talk:fitta

There are no Swedish dictionaries that describe fitta as possibly being a Finnish loanword. It seems to be more likely that it's the other way around, something that is confirmed by Stora fula ordboken by Bengt G. Dagrin. Please provide references to statements of this kind in the future.

I agree, Finnish *v -> Swedish *f seems an unlikely sound shift. Swedish has no problem with native words starting with *v, In Finnish, native words starting with *f only appear in certain dialects. Wakuran 10:51, 16 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

May this word be in some way related to German Fotze and may both be related to Latin puteus? --Thidrek (talk) 14:04, 4 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
