Talk:forty minutes of hell

In what sense is "An Oklhahoma-based rock band" encyclopedic? I'm guessing that the objection is that the band should be mentioned in Wikipedia but not here. I tend to disagree. There are plenty of examples of proper nouns being included in Wiktionary, particularly but not solely when they overlap with common nouns (e.g. the Haw river). This seems harmless. If the entry for the band had actually been encyclopedic — that is, lengthy and all-encompassing — I could certainly see trimming it down. -dmh 13:20, 18 Oct 2004 (UTC) (-dmh)

To clarify, I meant that the short definition ("An Oklahoma-based rock band") goes in Wiktionary, and the lengthier entry (if any) goes in Wikipedia, preferably with interwiki links in between -66.26.58.221 13:21, 18 Oct 2004 (UTC)(-dmh)
