The plural form genses seems rather obscure and not normally listed in the dictionaries (nothing in OED and AHD), but it is exactly what I encountered and looked up, and it was missing. So I guess additional quotes of its usage would be more than welcome, in order to dispel any impending doubts on its actual, real-world usage. There is also a mild possibility that we're dealing with a typo or scanno of the original document, as the cited author was more than proficient in Latin and is unlikely to have made such a gross omission of what he certainly new was the "proper" plural form. --Ivan Štambuk 21:56, 21 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

descendents edit

The basque term jende should not be listed as a direct descendent of the latin term since basque does not come from latin. It should instead use the arrow. 96.241.99.48 01:37, 2 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
