@Jberkel I noticed you re-added a usage label for the first sense of the noun. I'm wondering what leads you to believe it to be a restricted usage, as described at WT:MOS. Graham11 (talk) 07:22, 11 March 2022 (UTC)
- @Graham11: This comes up now and then, there's some confusion on Wiktionary between topics (this sense is related to music [instruments]) and (restricted) contexts (this sense is only used by musicologists). In this case the label is used to introduce the topic/category of the sense. Strictly following WT:CL would probably lead to the deletion of a lot labels. If an entry has only one sense I agree that it can be removed (while making sure that the entry is still correctly categorized). If there are several senses (with different usages/topics) I think it's helpful (from a reader's perspective) for the labels to be kept. – Jberkel 13:07, 11 March 2022 (UTC)
