Talk:invaluable

It seems that people use the word "invaluable" to mean the same thing as "valuable". It seems awkward and a poor choice. Why not just use the word "valuable"?

I always perceived it in the same way. If something is invaluable, it means its value is so great that it simply cannot be measured. In other words, invaluable is better than valuable.
