In Russian grammar called предложный падеж??? edit

RE: << местный падеж ... In Russian grammar called предложный падеж (prepositional case). >>

The locative and prepositional cases are not the same thing. It's simply that in Russian, the locative and prepositional have merged in most cases. Nevertheless, there are some words that have a true locative form, separate from the prepositional. For example, о береге, о лесе, о поле, о мосте (prepositional); but на берегу, в лесу, на полу, на мосту (locative). «О береге», это предложный падеж ... «на берегу» — местный. —Stephen 07:38, 10 April 2005 (UTC)Reply

Translations edit

Could we merge translations from locative case with locative? And also other cases, nominative, genitive... Maro 15:31, 23 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
