      Death rate?

      It's not really the death rate of a population, is it? Otherwise there would be no need for the term mortality rate. —JakeybeanTALK 16:44, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

      • Not really / almost / possibly. In terms such as infant mortality I think that it is the number of such deaths in a population. SemperBlotto 16:52, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
        True, therefore I think death rate should maybe be replaced with number of deaths with a link to mortality rate —JakeybeanTALK 16:59, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
