I think you are mistaken, mulla is not an Arabic word although it is used in Arabic but it has another origin.
- It's eventually from Arabic مَوْلَى (mawlā), which became "molla" in Persian. It's true that Arabic مُلَّا (mullā) is a reborrowing from the Persian. 88.64.225.98 17:58, 10 November 2019 (UTC)
