- Maybe, but I don't think so. The current heading mis-labeling may be throwing you off; "on all fours" acts as an adjective with an extra idiomatic connotation of subservience as a dog or a pack animal. While the sentence you gave as an example is not idiomatic, and instead describes a sum-of-its-parts physical action/location/position.
