Etymology

Paschal may also be used as an adjective (from "Pascha", a Latinized spelling of the Hebrew word Pesach, (פֶּסַח, meaning Passover) to describe various Easter- and Passover-related observances and events: (followed by a list of various paschal things, like paschal lamb and paschal candle).
