Talk:penny in the fusebox

Judging by the google hits, this is just on the verge of becoming an idiom. The hits are generally of the form "It's like putting a penny in a fuse box -- it works but it's not a good idea," but there are a few, particularly of "penny in the fuse box", which don't see any need to explain the simile, thus giving us room to step in. Note, however, that there are at least four forms for this phrase: Penny in {a, the} {fuse box, fusebox}. The most common appears to be "penny in the fuse box", so I'll move this there. -dmh 17:41, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)
