Can qua be used in a sentence? Yes, 'qua' can be new or used in a sentence.

I don't think it rhymes with words like "hay". It rhymes with words like "ska", "shah", "spa".

It may be pronounced either way, kwah or kweɪ (at least in the U.S. pronunciation of Latin). —Stephen 16:34, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Usage? edit

Could guide me as to how this word is used? I'm still confused on it usage and purpose, and why it is generally used in more academic-type of books and articles... --72.241.13.250 00:28, 13 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

I have a problem understanding this word too.--128.255.111.26 15:59, 7 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Adverb? edit

None of the examples under the adverb sense of "qua" are adverbs (excepting perhaps Roy Porter's); rather, they are all prepositions. Can "qua" truly ever be an adverb? It seems that all of these citations should be moved to under the preposition sense. Dylanvt (talk) 13:21, 3 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
