Hello - Is it possible to have an editor, reasonably versed in etymology/morphology, check the etymologies (especially of words which trace back to roots in Latin), and fill in the many gaps and remove incorrect links?
For instance, the given etymology for Spanish 'rayar' postulates Latin 'radiare', but links to the page for the related Italian verb. This may strike the casual etymologist as expedient in the absence of a page to link to for the Latin verb, but I would rather have no link than an incorrect one. If there is a related Italian, French, Romanian, Catalan, Romansh etc. term, then this should be listed as a cf. rather than a root.

- It should link to the entry for the string of letters r-a-d-i-a-r-e, which could include a number of language sections but apparently includes only Italian. AFAIK User:EncycloPetey is our main Latin contributor, you may want to talk to him. L☺g☺maniac ☃ 14:00, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
