I don't think I can give any source for this, but the verb ryssiä also has the meaning to rush/storm somewhere with brutal force (which I'm guessing is a reference to the way Russians came to Finland during the Winter War). This is a very common phrase among Finnish gamers, usually used in strategy games or first person shooters when someone rushes into open or a building without giving it much thought (often just shooting randomly while charging), but you sometimes hear it in normal speech, too. --This informative comment was left by Sw-f 10:59, 22 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
