A German friend on commons referred me to the above site. That University of Munich web site seems like a good reference? --Connel MacKenzie 16:44, 15 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

As a proper noun I know of it. Is it also a common noun in English? —Stephen 20:45, 2 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Striking. The English section of the entry was tagged in this revision. In that revision, there is only one sense: "Administrative and military centre for the Zaporozhian Cossacks." The nominator has raised no specific complaint about the entry. In case of doubt, the mentioned sense can be sent to RFV, but Stephen G. Brown says above that he knows the proper noun sense. See also current revision. --Dan Polansky 14:44, 27 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
