"малоумен" literally means an imbecile. If by "simple-minded" it's meant "mentally impaired", then it checks out. If on the other hand simple-minded is to be understood as "Free from duplicity; guileless, innocent, straightforward", then "малоумен" should not be there. Bear in mind that 'прост' used for a person is demeaning, it translates as 'stupid', but for an object it means 'simple'. Kshegunov (talk) 02:15, 23 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
