slew rate edit
I'm not sure how to add this sense, but in electrical engineering, slew is the rate at which a device can output a signal following along with an input signal. It's not time-delay (which would be more like latency) but the steepness of the curve it can sustain; the quality of the result would be some limit on high frequency performance. I'm assuming that the EE meaning was borrowed from some traditional sense of slew, but I don't see anything here that matches.
