Sum of its parts. Fark 18:02, 11 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

This passes Pawley #22, which distinguishes button hole from bullet hole from post hole. However, it passes no test that I've named, in particular the Egyptian pyramid test that derives from the same rule. ∂ανίΠα 23:52, 11 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Keep. Mostly harmless. bd2412 T 00:11, 12 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
If we keep this, are we also going to add an entry for pillow fight, paper fight, pencil fight etc. Unless we're going to have those as well, we should delete this. Fark 19:53, 13 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
pillow fight, food fight yes. pencil fight as slang, absolutely. You're not throwing pencils at each other, after all. What's a paper fight? ∂ανίΠα 20:06, 13 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Legalese, I think. --Connel MacKenzie T C 23:22, 14 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Not as far as I know - I think it's just like a snowball fight with balled-up paper. bd2412 T 23:32, 14 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, that's what it is. A fight with balled-up paper. Fark 13:18, 16 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Look at google results. Turns out it's either. Davilla 17:59, 17 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Keep - "snowball fight" is an established collocation, like food fight, but unlike "eraser fight" and "water balloon fight", which I have just made up. — Paul G 08:53, 16 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
PS - thin-edge-of-the-wedge argument again from Fark. — Paul G 08:54, 16 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Keep. Already attracted specific translations. Why do some people feel such a strong urge to delete anything new in the dictionary that they didn't think of. Are they feeling threatened in some way? Do they feel they get points in some Wiktionary heaven for deleting more words than anyone else ??????--Richardb 08:57, 16 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Actually Fark is just learning the ropes, okay? He/she argued vehemently for the keeping of "slam the phone down" above. Davilla 17:56, 17 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Looks like it's an automatic reply on every RFD nomination that Richard doesn't like. — Vildricianus 18:02, 17 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
rfv-passed. Andrew massyn 09:43, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
