Talk:speaking
This article does not list a good example of using prepositions with "speaking". I was speaking to her. OR I was speaking with her. What's correct?
- They are usually both correct, and equivalent. However, if you're speaking "with" her, she is replying. If "to" her, she might be silent. Equinox ◑ 15:21, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
