The quotation is a bad one. The term "stochastic analysis" of a parking garage is ill defined, unless there is an engineering term I am unfamiliar with. The term in this case is being used for its connotation of mathematical complexity, which is not usually how the term is used. I propose changing it.

Stochastic is barbaric tersely. You want in the Greek derivation, as a matter of philosophical contention, the affirmative stoch i astikos to describe the relation of the randomness or pattern coherence in the most rudimentary terms possible. Stochiastikos is the affirmative root of "Stochastic" as a string literal, without accentation and I am willing to venture to say that Stochastic was inherently, an overlooked mistake in terms of properly optimizing the root etymology of the word, leading to communication breakdown for different language speakers around the world.
