Seems to also have some kind of usage related to pocket PCs / cell phones / etc

Greek/Latin origin edit

I may be mistaken here, but isn't the -i suffix only applicable to plurals of words of Greek origin, as in Cerberus - Cerberii?

Nah, it's the other way around, -i is a typical Latin plural suffix (for regular masculine nouns and adjectives). The Ancient Greek equivalent would be -οἱ. Mind you, there are many other forms in both languages. (By the way, "Cerberus" is the latinized form of the Ancient Greek word "Κέρβερος", transliterated as "Kérberos".) – 85.5.210.120 21:28, 27 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
