Capitalized?

I see this word capitalized everywhere I look at on the web. So, is it supposed to be capitalized? (I don't see why it should be though... maybe it's a proper noun?) --Kipmaster 10:47, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

Things like chess, backgammon, etc. aren't usually capitalized. I was wondering if people capitalize sudoku because of something along the lines of hyperforeignisms? --Interiot 21:03, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
