Etymology of the phrase edit
I often read that this phrase comes from the English idiom cock-and-bull story, but personally I suspect it comes from the vulgar Hokkien phrase 講𡳞鳥話／讲𡳞鸟话 (kóng lān-chiáu ōe). Can anyone please clarify? - Malurian123 (talk) 02:47, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
