Regarding the rfv, my thinking was that the attestation would be the name of the star constellation, Virgo (Thất Nữ). The name of the constellation has meaning in both English and Vietnamese. Gavinkwhite (talk) 11:56, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
- Thất Nữ (“Virgo”) is actually attested, but the same can not be said for thất nữ with the meaning "virgin", I'm afraid. PhanAnh123 (talk) 12:29, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
- Ok. So would a note in the etymology section of Thất Nữ stating that 室女 means (dated) unmarried lady; virgin in Chinese be appropriate or useful in your opinion? Gavinkwhite (talk) 12:40, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, I see no reason why that can not be added right into the etymology header itself.PhanAnh123 (talk) 12:51, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
