Talk:thrawl

My Warwickshire parents, with no particular connection to Yorkshire or Derbyshire, used the term "thrawl" to describe a concrete shelf in the pantry. The house was built in the early fifties in the days before refrigeration was common. The term was still in use locally in the sixties.
