Talk:thunder

Strange entry. I cannot use Firefox to edit the page and insert a Norwegian entry. There is some strange characters, probably from the Japanese translation.

No problem any more. However, I find explanation (2) rather strange. The example becomes "The noise he thought was a noise resembling thunder turned out to be the rattle of a sheet of aluminum,..." How come?

I've removed the example sentence referred to above. The use of thunder in that sentence is clearly in the sense of definition 1 (The sound caused by the discharge of atmospheric electrical charge.), not definition 2 (A sound resembling thunder.). - dcljr 17:37, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
