Wouldn't the Middle French have to come up in the etymology for the French? --Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 17:02, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
- Lots of French etymologies only list Latin and/or Ancient Greek without mentioning Middle and Old French. I'm not sure if it's always better to mention the Middle French if the spelling is just the same. It's not that I object, just that I don't always add detailed etymologies, as they take longer to write than definitions do. Mglovesfun (talk) 17:07, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
