Per MW sometimes also /ˈvaɪˌoʊl/ (e.g. 24:30), and per various people sometimes even /ˈviˌoʊl/ like viola (e.g. 8:20, [1]), probably under the influence of viola and to distinguish it from vile. - -sche (discuss) 16:24, 31 December 2023 (UTC)
