It's the same in Latin, there it also means “to hurry”. Perhaps it's the same with Italian, I haven't learned it.
Dispute on Volāre edit
In Latin, volāre, means (to fly), it is also the present active infinitive of volō (I fly), but it redirected to another yet wrong volō (I wish), and the present active infinitive of this volō is velle (to wish), which is an irregular verb with irregular conjugations.Wah lao eh... - Look again. There are two etymologies at Latin volō, and the correct one is Etymology 2, further down the page. Fortunately, someone had already used
{{senseid|la|fly}}to add an anchor in the correct Etymology section, so I just added|id=flyto the{{inflection of}}template to make it link there. In short, nothing wrong with the content, just a technical problem. Chuck Entz (talk) 03:12, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
