This template creates a short description of the arguments that a term takes and their meaning. It is not finished, but is already used in a significant number of entries.

Parameters edit

|1= (required)
The language code of the term being defined. (See Wiktionary:Languages.)
|2=, |3=, ... (optional)
The kind(s) of argument(s) that the term takes. These are interpreted using shortcuts from Module:form of/data. For example, acc is displayed as "accusative". Defaults to object.
|means= (optional)
A meaning to display after the argument(s).

  • {{+obj|ang|dat|or|ins}} procudes:
[+dative or instrumental = meaning]
  • {{+obj|en|acc|means=a [[knife]] etc.}} produces:
[+accusative = a knife etc.]
