For -nan verb base forms, cut off -nan and second vowel of double-vowel pair.

  • |1= present indicative base form

  • |3= subjunctive i base form
  • |4= subjunctive ii base form
  • |5= imperative base form

Named edit

  • |an= the second vowel of a double vowel in roots of -nan verbs
  • |aux= auxiliary verb
    |aux=h haban
    |aux=z zeinan
    |aux=hz haban or zeinan
  • |r=1 if the stem ends with -r
  • |suf= suffix
  • |ii2= alternative subjunctive ii: base form + (suffix minus -te, -test, -tan, etc.)
    Examples: èssan (to eat) has two subjunctive ii forms, (ich) issate or (ich) issatate. For this verb, |4=iss and |ii2=issata. For trinkhan ((ich) trinkhate or (ich) trinkhétete): |4=trinkh, |ii2=trinkhéte.
