This makes a compass rose, to be filled with the words for "north", "northeast", etc. in any language.

Parameters

lang

Language code. defaults to en if not specified.

n, ne, e, se, s, sw, w, nw

The entry titles, unwikified, for "north", etc. Defaults to blank if not specified.

nalt, nealt, ..., nwalt

The display text for those entry titles, respectively. Defaults to n et al. if not specified; to blank if n et al. are not specified.

ntr, netr, …, nwtr

The transliteration of entry titles not in the Latin alphabet, if not generated automatically
