frm-noun (plural frm-nouns)
- The following documentation is located at Template:frm-noun/documentation. [edit]
Usage
This template is used to format the lemma form of Middle French nouns. For plurals, please use {{plural of}}. This template contains the necessary meta-data to allow users who are using accelerated editing to create any grammatical forms semi-automatically. It takes the following parameters:
- 1: the gender. The template will accept
{{m}},{{f}}or mf No default; obligatory - 2: the letter added to the page name to form the plural. In Middle French this is usually z or s, but can also be x (eaux for example). Default: s
- pl: the plural. This will override the automatic plural ({{PAGENAME}}s) even if the 2nd parameter is specified.
- head: the head word in bold, for example to link to individual words. Default: {{PAGENAME}}
- sort: the sort key for Category:Middle French nouns, for example for words containing diacritics, capital letters or ligature. Default: {{PAGENAME}}
Example
{{frm-noun|f|s|sort=abbaie}}
gives
abbaïe f (plural abbaïes)
